En el Estado de Oaxaca, el 21 de octubre de 2019 se conformó el Consejo Interreligioso de Oaxaca.
Este Consejo se forma con el objetivo de promover el proyecto de Libertad Religiosa dentro del estado y facilitar la colaboración interreligiosa entre los ministros de culto, la sociedad y los gobiernos estatal y federal.
Las denominaciones representadas en este Consejo son la Arquidiócesis de Antequera Oaxaca, AR., La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días AR., la Convención Regional Bautista de Oaxaca AR., la Iglesia Doxa Internacional AR., Iglesia Nacional Presbiteriana en México AR., la Iglesia Peña de Horeb, AR., el Concilio Nacional de Asambleas de Dios, AR., el Centro Familiar Cristiano Ministerio Unción de lo Alto, AR. y la Iglesia del Nazareno, AR.
Durante la reunión de conformación, el Consejo Interreligioso de Oaxaca realizó la firma de su manifiesto en el cual se comprometen a crear conciencia respecto a la Libertad Religiosa en favor del bienestar social.
La Fundación Conciencia Nacional por la Libertad Religiosa que fungió como asesor para la reunión de los líderes de las religiones preponderantes en el estado.
